Zikrly is designed to minimize the collection of personal information. The app does not require users to create an account or provide personal information such as a name, phone number, home address, or date of birth in order to use its core features.
Zikrly may store information such as:
- Zikr and tasbeeh counts
- Daily zikr progress
- Selected zikr or dua
- Custom zikr goals
- App preferences and settings
This information is intended to be stored locally on your device so your progress can be remembered when you close and reopen the app.
2. Personal Information
Zikrly does not intentionally collect personally identifiable information through its core functionality.
We do not ask users to provide:
- Full name
- Residential address
- Phone number
- Financial or banking information
- Government identification
- Contacts or private messages
3. How Information Is Used
Information stored by Zikrly is used only to support app functionality, including remembering your zikr count, tracking daily progress, saving selected goals, remembering preferences, and providing a consistent app experience.
We do not use your zikr activity for advertising profiling.
4. Data Sharing
Zikrly does not sell personal information. We do not intentionally share users' zikr counts, dua activity, or personal app preferences with advertisers or other third parties.
5. Local Device Storage
Some app information may be stored locally on your Android device, including tasbeeh counts, zikr goals, daily progress, selected categories, and app settings.
This information may be removed when you clear app storage/data, uninstall Zikrly, or reset your device.
6. Internet Access
Some versions or features of Zikrly may require an internet connection, for example when loading externally hosted resources or future online functionality.
Internet access itself does not mean that Zikrly intentionally collects your personal information.
7. Third-Party Services
Zikrly may be distributed through Google Play, which may independently process information related to downloading, installing, updating, security checking, and using applications.
Such information is handled by Google according to Google's own policies and is not controlled by Zikrly.
If Zikrly introduces analytics, advertising, crash reporting, cloud storage, authentication, or other third-party services in the future, this Privacy Policy should be updated accordingly.
8. Advertising
The current version of Zikrly does not intentionally use users' personal information for targeted advertising. If advertising is added in the future, this policy will be updated.
9. Permissions
Zikrly aims to request only Android permissions that are necessary for its functionality. The app should not request access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, or storage unless a feature genuinely requires it.
10. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information associated with Zikrly. Because primary zikr progress information is intended to remain locally on the user's device, protection of that information also depends on the security of the user's Android device.
11. Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored Zikrly information remains on your device until it is reset inside the application, cleared through Android app settings, or removed when the app is uninstalled.
Since Zikrly's core functionality does not require a user account, there may be no separately stored server-side user account to delete.
12. Children's Privacy
Zikrly is a general Islamic zikr and dua application and is not designed to intentionally collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the app's core features.
13. Religious and Informational Content
Zikrly provides Islamic zikr, duas, translations, transliterations, reminders, and related religious content for educational and devotional purposes. The app does not provide medical, financial, legal, or other professional advice.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Zikrly's features, technologies, legal requirements, or data practices change. Any revised policy will include an updated effective date.
